Bio

Karl Marlow Hoffmann, originally from Auckland, New Zealand, is a self-taught artist with a background in architecture. His work explores the fluid interplay between chaos and order, shaped by his philosophy of "Rational Chaoticism." This unique approach merges structured architectural principles with spontaneous, expressive gestures, born from a personal journey of artistic rebellion and self-discovery.

Having showcased his dynamic works in Wellington’s PNBE exhibitions, Karl's pieces captivate with their raw energy and balanced disarray. Now based in London, he continues to develop his craft, challenging conventional boundaries and reflecting on the evolving nature of identity, change, and the balance between control and spontaneity.
