"This project explores the human body as both an individual symbol and a defining boundary of personal identity. Through a diverse collection of ceramic sculptures, each with unique shapes and painted surfaces, this work celebrates diversity and individuality. The project draws inspiration from creation mythology, gestation, Paleolithic and Neolithic imagery, as well as primitive tribal art. The ceramic techniques employed allow for intricate patterns, vibrant colours, and rich textures, with sculptures measuring between 10 and 20 centimetres in length."

By Grace Frogley

Unique

charcoal on paper
A2 (42.0 x 59.4 cm), Framed

Signed: Front bottom right

"I used charcoal to draw from a photograph of a male ballerina during a quiet break. He’s clearly exhausted after a full day of rehearsals—his body slack, his posture unguarded—but there’s still an undeniable presence in the way he holds your gaze."
