Anastassia Zamaraeva, initially trained in architecture, rekindled her love for clay in 2018, transforming her practice into a deeply introspective exploration of form and emotion. Working from her home studio since 2020, Anastassia has embraced the freedom of being a self-taught artist, allowing her work to evolve without constraints or preconceptions. Her intuitive approach has gained her a dedicated international following, with recent commissions from Underbanks Studios and Arc in Stockport.

In 2023, Anastassia was shortlisted for the Emerging Maker Award at the International Ceramics Festival in Aberystwyth and has been featured in FAD Magazine and Colossal. Her distinctive ceramics have even appeared as references on CBC’s The Great Canadian Pottery Throwdown, affirming her place in the contemporary ceramics scene.
