Bio:

Tianyun Liu, a Beijing-born, London-based artist, brings a multidisciplinary approach to contemporary art, blending painting, installation, sculpture, and performance. With dual degrees in Textile and Product Design from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology and Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts, Liu’s diverse education informs her dynamic practice. Her recent Master’s in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts marked a significant evolution in her artistic voice, leading to her works being featured in high-profile exhibitions in both London and Beijing.

Liu’s recent exhibitions include Escape From Tartarus at the London Design Festival 2024, covered by official festival press, and Playground, Swanfall Art’s annual show. Her work was also exhibited at Shangzun Gallery in Beijing in Inside the Cradle, Outside the Cradle. Recognised for her versatility, Tianyun was recently featured as a recommended artist by Suboart Magazine, establishing her as a rising figure in both Chinese and international art scenes.
