Bio
Yeji Jeon, a Seoul-born artist, holds a Master’s in Painting from the Royal College of Art, London, and a BFA from ArtCenter College of Design, Pasadena. With exhibitions across Asia and Europe, including the Hanikhwan Museum and Seoul Auction, Yeji’s work embodies a deeply personal exploration of identity and belonging. Her pieces reflect on the transient nature of memory and emotion, often with a floral motif that serves as a powerful symbol of both beauty and vulnerability.
In her own words, Yeji describes her work as a “visual diary” that unravels feelings of displacement, longing, and an uncertain future. Her compositions invite the viewer into a world of delicately rendered flowers, where she explores the tension between anticipation and nostalgia. Through this process, Yeji seeks a sense of grounding, a reminder to “bloom wherever I go,” embracing her journey and transforming her fears into a celebration of resilience and self-acceptance.
