A mobile exhibition by ST.ART Gallery
October 15-19, 2025
Join us for the main event on Saturday 18 October at 1pm at Wellington Arch, followed by a ceremonial walk to Buckingham Palace.
DEFROST LONDON is a new project by ST.ART that brings contemporary art out of the gallery and into the city. At its centre is the Gallery Bike, a mobile exhibition space that is part sculpture, part gallery and fully pedal powered. Built from modular aluminium and plywood, it moves through London’s streets, turning the act of exhibition into a public encounter.
The Gallery Bike hosts micro exhibitions by Cem Hasimi, Bariş Kareli, Frankie Boyle, Mason Newman, Pneuhaus and Tom Enoch. Each artist engages with the structure in a different way, transforming the city into a continuously unfolding gallery that moves between sites including Cork Street, Granary Square, the Sculpture Park and Buckingham Palace.
DEFROST LONDON questions how visibility and value are created in the art world, reimagining what it means to take part in Frieze Week and meeting audiences wherever they are.
