"In the Blue Hour explores the state of mind during the transitional moments between light and darkness. The blue hour is neither as bright as day nor as dark as night—it exists in between, a liminal space where reality and imagination intertwine. In this printmaking work, I depict my thoughts drifting within the blue hour, where fragmented forms break apart and reassemble, transforming into birds in search of freedom. The interplay of blue and black reflects this in-between state, capturing the tension between confinement and release. Amidst the pressures of daily life, I see the blue hour as a space for release, a pause to breathe, reflect, and seek liberation. Through this work, I express the act of navigating uncertainty—embracing both stillness and movement, sorrow and serenity, as I move through the threshold of light and shadow."
