"Shadow" is a pair of monotype prints created from the same copper plate. While creating, I observed how the inked tree shadows in the first print transformed into a blank, ghost-like impression in the second. The two works exist in a state of mutual dependence, one revealing presence, the other absence, capturing a quiet dialogue between form and void."
