Stoneware clay, glaze
37cm x 8cm x 8cm

"This piece is called ‘That which holds us’. It came out of the long months after COVID, after the separations, the stillness, the quiet undoing of what we thought connection meant. Something still holds us. Not always visible, not always clean. In this piece, it takes the form of shared fluids. Slightly grotesque, slightly tender. A lifeline. A leak. A way to stay close, even when apart. Intimacy is not simple. It stretches across time, tension, memory and matter. This piece sits in that space."
